Revamping an existing old design

On the left side of the screen is the original company website, while on the right side is the revamped version. In the outdated design, there is a crowded navigation bar containing an excess of textual links within the menus. The hero banner features a sliding image with the company logo duplicated both in the navigation bar and the hero banner itself. The legibility of the hero banner content is questionable, and the overall design appears to suffer from imbalance.

Moreover, the action buttons are difficult to discern and lack readability. The design not only disrupts the visual harmony but also has the potential to negatively impact the user’s mental state, which contradicts the services the company aims to provide. The section highlighting upcoming events is compromised by an excessive number of buttons and misaligned design elements, creating a cluttered and disorganized appearance. The user experience is adversely affected by these design issues, underscoring the need for a comprehensive redesign to enhance both aesthetic appeal and functionality.

How we apply our tactics to revamp the website.

Given the focus on mental well-being, the business website recognizes the visual importance of providing a spacious and calming environment for users. Several enhancements have been implemented to achieve this:

  1. Navbar Streamlining:                                                                                                                                  The navbar menu has undergone a transformation by consolidating services and introducing a dropdown mega menu system for efficient categorization. This minimizes clutter and facilitates easier navigation, creating a more user-friendly experience.

  2. Hero Banner Optimization:

    • The hero banner heading has been enlarged to improve visibility, especially since the title is displayed twice. Social icons have been strategically incorporated, linking to relevant platforms to enhance credibility and broaden the company’s outreach.
    • The redundancy of the company logo has been addressed by removing it from the hero banner, eliminating duplication.
  3. Call to Action Enhancement: The call to action button has undergone a significant transformation, increasing in size and richness to prompt users to take immediate and clear actions. This modification aims to engage users effectively and enhance the overall user experience.

  4. Menu Placement and Hero Banner Aesthetics:

    • The menu has been repositioned to the left and oriented horizontally, aligning with the hero banner’s slider functionality. The active carousel banner is displayed on the right, creating a harmonious visual flow.
    • Leveraging AI, the hero banner images have been carefully selected to convey a sense of calmness, aligning with the nature of the psychedelic services offered. The images are dimmed to maintain a soothing ambiance.
  5. Revamped Upcoming Events Section:

    • The upcoming events section has been redesigned to prioritize content visibility. Instead of traditional call-to-action buttons, a hover effect has been implemented. This design choice elevates the content, offering a serene browsing experience. The call-to-action button is now accessible only to interested users who engage with the content, streamlining the user journey.

These refinements collectively contribute to a visually pleasing and functionally efficient website, aligning with the business’s focus on mental well-being and creating a more serene online experience for visitors.
